In a previous episode, we saw that a safe circle isn’t a comfort zone, but a place built on mutual trust and two‑way communication with family members or friends who let you drop the armor for a while.
But in that case, what has ENDA’s experience been with his own safe circle so far? Well, if we could sum it up:
❇️ When a project pile‑up feels suffocating, a quick meet‑up or call with close friends resets my perspective.
❇️ When leading a team churns up anxiety, time with my circle reminds me it’s “just a project”; no need to carry that weight after hours.
❇️ Sometimes I’m on the listening side, and I listen until the end when someone talks until they have vented all out. That release is cathartic for them and grounding for everyone present.
So, how would ENDA “rate” the value of a safe circle?
I will say that it is unfair to rate it. You can’t put a number on something that keeps you balanced and lets you be part of others’ balance in return. I’m simply grateful to have one and to belong to theirs.
The journey continues…
