ENDA Episode 73→ The time when ENDA appreciates having a life outside the office (Part 2)
And the reward? You don’t just become a better artist, you become a better person.
For many artists, learning to balance work and personal life is a hard lesson, one that often comes too late after burnout, frustration, or lost time. But if you start early, you make space for yourself outside the office from the beginning, it becomes second nature.
And the reward? You don’t just become a better artist, you become a better person. Someone who can grow in their craft without sacrificing everything else that makes them who they are.
That balance does more than just keep you sane; it makes you a stronger, more adaptable artist.
Inspiration doesn’t just come from long hours in front of a screen. It comes from the experiences you gather outside of it. The conversations, the challenges, and the passions beyond VFX all shape how you approach creative problems and storytelling.
You don’t have to choose between being an artist and being yourself. In fact, the stronger your identity outside of work, the more unique and valuable your artistic voice becomes.
So, take your time. Build both lives: as an artist and as a person. They’re not separate; they’re two sides of the same journey.
What’s something outside of work that keeps you grounded?
The journey continues...
