“Never met your heroes” is what I was told myself after the first time I worked with the SAMA team. Thanks to that experience I could stop idealizing them and meet them as people.
In addition, it allowed me to look back on their prior feats and realize that things were not as perfect as I thought:
→ The second project: the DVD with the short film finished burning just minutes before the presentation in class. If the program would have failed or took more minutes to finish, they would have been in trouble.
→ The third project: the TV episode had so many VFX shots that they could not make it to the presentation with the teacher on time and when they arrived, it was with a 144p video. They could later present the DVD but with a lower maximum grade.
But the most important one happens after the second project in the same course. Their second project was a mid-term project and it was praised, but the same thing did not happen with the final projects.
What happened in that final project?
