In Part 1, we explained the context that made ENDA take a leap of faith and start his journey.

Today, it is all about the race that began afterwards.

When ENDA first arrived, he had to settle quickly into a new environment where everything felt foreign.

Language, transport, bureaucracy and, above all, time.

It took him a long time to get used to the new environment. And on top of all that, he had to start a new school.

This time, it was a specialised school in VFX Compositing.

A one-year programme.

A one-year work permit after graduation.

And a strong record of student placement in the VFX industry.

The beginning was hard. Everything ENDA thought he knew about VFX was overhauled and updated with new concepts. The same ones he had seen countless times in films but had never truly understood.

He started to improve little by little, but he had one major flaw: he was scared of taking on complicated shots because he feared he would not be able to finish them.

At the time, that flaw did not seem to affect his work too much.

But it would come back to haunt him in the future.

However, everything else was going smoothly. It was only a matter of time before he could complete the programme and start applying to studios.

But then…

Something unexpected happened.

Something that only happens every few years.

An event that would affect not only ENDA, but the whole Grand Line of VFX.

But that will be for a future episode.

The journey continues...
