I always say that the journey continues at the end of every post, but I have never told you in detail how it all started, or how I arrived at the Prologue Arc.

Today, I want to write about that beginning.

Just like many aspiring artists, I started working for a small post-production studio focused on commercials right after graduating from college. I only stayed there for two months before moving on to a local animation school.

While finishing my thesis, I continued working for a local animation studio as a compositor. Then I changed jobs again, moving to another studio where I stayed the longest, first as a texture artist and then as a compositor once more.

I did not have a bad life. I could have stayed in that studio for many years.

But…

ENDA knew he was not the artist he aspired to be.

His VFX knowledge was still limited, and many tasks took him a long time to complete. Not because of the complexity of the shots, but because of his lack of experience and knowledge in the craft.

Still, he managed to deliver everything on time.

In his country, ENDA was an “OK” compositor.

And that could have been enough.

But it was not.

ENDA saw amazing films and series being released year after year. Some of them showed such a high level of VFX that he thought it would be impossible to reach.

Their place of origin?

The Grand Line of VFX.

And the deeper he looked into it, the more he realised how little he knew.

So, an idea began to grow.

Months later, after achieving success in his country, ENDA finally became convinced that he had to leave.

ENDA took his gear, with a clear goal on the horizon. He knew his destination would not be easy to reach, and even harder to stay in.

But he took the leap.

The wall separating his world from the other side finally broke.

A new world opened before him.

And a new race began.

But that will be for a future episode.

The journey continues...
