ENDA Episode 247 → The time when ENDA fights with a fire sword (Part 11)
The arm does not simply move away. It also changes perspective as it descends, moving the source of light away from the top shoulder and front torso.
In a previous episode, we worked on the first ten frames of the shirt’s interactive lighting. There were some interesting findings, but more await us in the next frame range.
In the video below, we can see a change in motion that did not happen before.
The arm does not simply move away. It also changes perspective as it descends, moving the source of light away from the top shoulder and front torso.
However, a new area becomes illuminated:
the side of the shirt.
This lighting change might seem odd when we first draw the shapes or move the beziers. But when we watch the whole frame range in motion, we can see how the lighting on the shirt moves accordingly with the fire.
It may seem quick and almost unnoticeable, but that is the idea:
not breaking the illusion.
You usually only notice when something does not match.
And that is just with twenty frames!
There is still more to cover in this shot, but that will be for a future episode.
The journey continues...
