NDAs are full of surprises, and perhaps one of the things you should be aware of is what happens after a project is released.
I know, I know…
“Doesn’t an NDA end the moment the client publishes the project?”
Yes and no.
What might no longer be secret is the fact that you worked on that project, and perhaps what you did for it. But many other things related to the project may still remain confidential, even after release.
Why?
There could be many reasons: protecting the creative process, controlling the public image of the project, protecting the client company’s image in the long term, and many others.
The point is this: you still need to be careful about what you say regarding a project you worked on.
Of course, there may be exceptions or specific permissions. But that depends on the project, the circumstances, and what the company allows at that time.

So, is this everything we should be wary of when it comes to NDAs?
