In Frame 1, the earring is behind the hair, but by Frame 10, that is no longer the case.

In the last part, we reconstructed the ear in Frames 1 and 10. But before working on the animation, we had to finish the earring first.

In the video below, we can see that something similar happens with the earring as with the ear. In Frame 1, the earring is behind the hair, but by Frame 10, that is no longer the case.

As a result, we need two different types of clean plates for each frame. And just like with the ear, we need to set them up so the trick stays hidden from an attentive eye once we start animating the patches.

Now that we have the ear and the earring set up for this frame range, we can start working on the patches for the first 10 frames of the shot.

It sounds easy.

And that is the key word: “sounds.”

But that will be for a future episode.
